I tried editting the save game file Local_slot_3.txt with QuickEdit Text editor. But when I load up the game, none of my changes have taken place. There's really 3 files you want to look over to make sure all the values match from what I can tell: The "Local" file, the "Local_slot" file, and the "General" file.
I think this should definitely restore everything: 1. Open the local files folder (Right click in Steam/Properties/Local Files) 2. Uninstall the game. 3. Delete any remaining files in the folder opened in step 1. 4. Unsubscribe from all Game Dev Tycoon workshop items.
