Sell your OG switch to get a little back (maybe $100-150) then get the new model. If you plan on playing handheld a lot it's totally worth it, it's got better battery life than the switch lite. Definitely do not do this. If you've never tried a motherboard swap its very very easy to accidently break several of the connectors.
